Given enough time, the Dragonborn could consolidate enough of the Oversoul to be equal in size to the Time Gods. By End-Game, you're probably the same size as the least of the Time Gods: Tosh-Raka.

The Last Dragonborn's literal job is absorbing souls, and not just any souls, DRAGON souls. Bethesda likes giving player characters badass, god-level fates (In Oblivion you become Sheogorath for god's sake), so I think it stands to reason that the Last Dragonborn could almost certainly achieve immortality.

But for a role playing perspective I prefer to keep the Dragonborn a possible descendent of nords at least. I understand the game alloys any race to be “akatosh’s chosen” but I just feel wrong playing any other race as a db.
